HYXI Showcases Smarter Energy Solutions for Malaysia’s Energy Transition at IGEM 2026 Release time:2026-10-08

KUALA LUMPUR, 7 October 2026 – HYXI (formerly “HYXiPOWER”) is showcasing energy solutions for residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), and utility-scale applications at IGEM 2026, held from 7 to 9 October at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. At Booths 2007–2012 in Hall 2, HYXI is presenting a portfolio spanning solar generation, energy storage and energy management, covering applications from residential solar self-consumption and C&I projects to large-scale solar and battery energy storage.

With Malaysia continuing to expand solar deployment across different applications, HYXI is using IGEM 2026 to demonstrate how its portfolio addresses energy needs at different scales – from the home and commercial site to the grid.

From Rooftop Solar to Home Energy Storage

For residential applications, HYXI is showcasing the HYXI Aura All-in-One ESS, following its recent launch in Malaysia.

Designed as an integrated home energy storage system, Aura eliminates the need for an additional gateway or backup box and supports 63A bypass, seamless on-grid and off-grid switching, and expansion with up to six battery modules. Simplified installation and AI-powered energy scheduling are designed to help households make greater use of stored solar energy.

The solution is particularly relevant to the growing adoption of solar self-consumption in Malaysia. Under the Solar Accelerated Transition Action Programme (Solar ATAP), solar PV systems can be deployed for self-consumption, with battery energy storage also recognised as part of solar PV-coupled systems.

For smaller-scale and distributed residential applications, the HYXI Halo Micro ESS portfolio offers both AC-coupled and PV-coupled configurations. The HYXI Halo Plug-In AC-Coupled Micro ESS is designed to work with existing solar setups without requiring upgrades or rewiring, providing a flexible option for homeowners looking to add battery storage to an existing PV system. The 3 kWh modular system can be expanded to 18 kWh and delivers up to 3,000W of output.

For new solar-plus-storage installations, the HYXI Halo PV All-in-One Micro ESS supports direct PV connection, four MPPT inputs and up to 2,400W of PV input, allowing solar generation from different orientations to be managed within the integrated system. It also offers up to 10,000 battery cycles, IP66 protection and built-in aerosol fire suppression, with modular expansion up to 18 kWh.

Together, the HYXI Halo AC-coupled and PV-coupled configurations give homeowners different pathways to integrate energy storage, whether adding storage to an existing solar installation or building a new solar-plus-storage system.

For split residential storage, the HYXI QS5 Battery Pack provides a modular storage option, with 5 kWh per pack and scalability up to 60 kWh. It uses 314Ah LiFePO₄ cells, supports up to 10,000 cycles and features DC-DC active balancing, with compatibility with HYXI hybrid inverters in high-voltage configurations.

The HYXI EcoSavvy Series brings a compact and lightweight approach to residential PV. Built with next-generation SiC MOSFET technology, EcoSavvy delivers up to 98.5% efficiency and full output at ambient temperatures of up to 50°C. The 2–3.6kW model weighs just 4.5kg and is 29% lighter and 38.5% smaller than comparable previous-generation products, making it easier to handle and install. With 20A input current per string and support for modules of up to 700W, EcoSavvy is designed to accommodate high-power PV modules used in today’s residential systems.

HYXI is also showcasing a range of microinverters for residential and distributed solar applications. The portfolio includes multi-in-1 solutions for high-power PV modules, with the 2,500W 4-in-1 microinverter supporting up to 18A input current and 2,500W full output, while maintaining full performance at ambient temperatures of up to 50°C.

Integrating Solar and Storage for C&I

As solar self-consumption expands beyond residential applications, HYXI is also presenting solutions for commercial and industrial sites, including its C&I String Inverter portfolio and the HYXI Atlas All-in-One Liquid-Cooling ESS.

Malaysia’s self-consumption framework also covers non-domestic solar applications, creating a growing environment for businesses to combine solar generation with energy storage.

Designed for C&I applications, HYXI Atlas integrates liquid cooling, advanced thermal monitoring and multi-layer safety protection for demanding operating environments. Its liquid-cooling architecture incorporates 271 real-time temperature monitoring points with 0.05°C accuracy, while 50mm A1-grade insulation provides fire resistance of up to two hours at temperatures of up to 1,000°C. Six-layer protection is designed to isolate overcurrent within 20ms.

Atlas also features C5 anti-corrosion protection and an operating temperature range of -30°C to 55°C. Its modular design supports module replacement in as little as 10 minutes, helping simplify maintenance and reduce potential downtime for C&I projects.

Together with its C&I string inverters, the portfolio gives HYXI a solution set covering both solar generation and energy storage for commercial and industrial applications.

Powering Solar + BESS at Utility-scale

At the utility scale, battery energy storage is becoming an increasingly important part of Malaysia’s large-scale renewable energy development. The Large Scale Solar 6 (LSS6) programme further reflects the country’s move toward integrating large-scale solar with battery energy storage.

Against this backdrop, HYXI is highlighting its utility-scale solution at IGEM 2026. Designed for larger-capacity and higher-voltage applications, HYXI Atlas Mega Container ESS supports grid-connected and off-grid operation and is positioned for large-scale renewable energy projects where battery storage plays a role in integrating solar generation with the wider power system.

This utility-scale portfolio complements HYXI’s residential and C&I solutions, extending its energy storage offering from distributed applications to grid-scale deployment.

Connecting Technology with Malaysia’s Energy Ecosystem

Beyond the products on display, HYXI is using IGEM 2026 as a platform to engage with installers, distributors and industry partners across Malaysia.

During the exhibition’s Pocket Talk session, HYXI presented its broader energy portfolio and solution architecture, with a focus on HYXI Aura, HYXI Halo and HYXI Atlas. The session provided an overview of how HYXI’s residential and C&I solutions can be applied across different solar and energy storage scenarios.

“Malaysia is developing solar and energy storage across a range of applications, from residential self-consumption to commercial and industrial projects and large-scale renewable energy,” said Michael Li, Country Manager of HYXI Malaysia. “At IGEM, we are bringing these different solutions together to give our partners and industry stakeholders a clearer view of how HYXI can support different project requirements. We remain committed to working with our partners and growing our presence in Malaysia.”

For HYXI, IGEM 2026 forms part of its continued development across Southeast Asia. Following its participation in ASEW in Thailand and Solar & Storage Live Vietnam, HYXI continues to expand its regional portfolio across residential, C&I and utility-scale applications, adapting its solutions to the requirements of different energy markets.
