From October 10 to 12, HYXI welcomed a group of 16 installers led by VEH Solar, an important distribution partner in Germany, for a visit to HYXI headquarters. The delegation toured HYXI’s factory and showroom, gaining a close-up understanding of HYXI’s technological R&D strength, manufacturing capabilities, and product lineup.
Both sides discussed expanding further in the German renewableenergy market. The visit strengthened mutual trust and opened the door to long-term cooperation.
Deepening Partnerships for Long-Term Growth
Germany is one of the world’s most mature distributed energy markets. EUPD Research expects Europe’s battery storage market to surge 78% to 57 GWh in 2026, with residential storage remains the key growth engine. Germany is setto record the largest residential storage additions in Europe, backed by a mature installer ecosystem and an established policy framework.
According to RWTH Aachen University, about 48% of residential PV systems in Germany were installed in combination with a battery storage system by the end of 2025, leaving significant room for retrofits. Storage is also expected to become mandatory for new PV systems after 2027. This creates broad opportunities for HYXI and VEH Solar.
As one of HYXI’s important distribution partners in the German market, VEH Solar promotesHYXI’s smart energy solutions through local installer channels and customer resources, and both parties are actively exploring more cooperation projects in the residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) sectors.
After touring HYXI’s inverter factory and battery factory, Malte Claußen, CEO of VEH Solarand a 30-year veteran of the solar industry,, said: “I must say I’m extremely impressed after seeing all the facilities and the products made by HYXI. But what impressed me most is how HYXI finds the best solution for the customer. What I’ve seen is that HYXI doesn’t just make a product for PV systems and for customers, they look behind the scenes, they look at what’s really necessary, and they try to make it easy and very smart for the customer to use.”
Residential and C&I Storage: Meeting Real Demand in Germany
During the meeting, HYXI presented its development history, product portfolio, and business layout. Face-to-face discussions gave customers a clear picture of HYXI’s capabilities.
Germany’s renewableenergy market is changing fast. Under the EEG 2027 draft, new rooftop solar systemsunder25 kW would lose permanent subsidies and be limited to feeding 50% of their output into the grid. This will directly drive storage demand, creating structural growth for both residential and C&I storage in Germany, and raising the bar on reliability, installation efficiency, and ROIofenergy storage products.
Customers showed great interest in the HYXI Halo Micro ESS series, the HYXI Aura All-in-One Residential ESS, and the HYXI Atlas Liquid-Cooled C&I ESS.
HYXI Halo comes in three versions: 3kWh AC-coupled, 3kWh DC-coupled, and 5kWh AC-coupled. At just 28kg, it fits balconies, courtyards, and outdoor scenarios. Plug-and-play installation takes 60 seconds; commissioning and one-touch self-check take 5 minutes. With a 10,000-cycle lifespan, it offers German apartment tenants, small households, and outdoor users a lighter, longer-lasting storage option.
HYXI Aura provides whole-home backup. With a built-in Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), it eliminates a separate backup gateway while enabling 0 ms seamless switchover during grid interruptions. HYXI Aura supports flexible mixing of 7kWh and 9kWh battery packs, including mixed old and new batteries. HYXI Aura takes a simpler approach with an integrated, stackable design that makes installation faster and easier, with setup completed in as little as 10 minutes. This speed is a clear edge in Europe’s residential storage market, directly addressing installers’ demand to cut on-site costs.
In C&I storage, Germany is shifting from a supplementary role to structural growth. Industrial electricity prices are among the EU’s highest, pushing more users to reducecapacity chargesthrough peak shaving, and capture spot price arbitrage. The HYXI Atlas 261kWh liquid-cooled C&I ESS adopts A+ grade Tier 1 cells, automotive-grade packs, and three-phase four-leg topology PCS for stable output in harsh conditions. It occupies only1.39 square meters and features the industry’s first automated liquid replenishment, cutting O&M time by 70% on average.
Turning Customer Feedback into Localized Growth
Face-to-face talks gave HYXI deeper insight into German market needs, installation application scenarios, and product feedback, providing key input for future product upgrades, technical support, and localized expansion.
HYXI will continue working closely with VEH Solar and its installer partners to advance residential and C&I storage in Germany through product innovation, technical support, and local channel development.
